February in Vermont
I live close to northern Vermont and it’s very cold. We’ve had a lot of single digit days and below zero nights. The weather has been colder than usual making me look forward to spring even more.
As you can see on my site, I don’t have many winter photos because I would have to spend considerable time outdoors. This photo was taken around New Year’s Day, 2024 on the backroads of Stowe; and, it’s a good representation of our wintry overcast days.
Last week I ventured out late afternoon at blue hour sunset on an unusually clear day wearing multi-layered clothes and took a photo of a famous landmark in Richmond, VT—the Round Church and Meeting House. It is no longer a church and the Historical Society maintains and uses it for meetings and special events. In summer and early fall, it’s used for wedding ceremonies.
Early next week, I’ll upload the photo in my next blog and my site’s gallery.
